January 23, 2009: According to online news magazine "ars technica," the Xbox 360 is getting an exclusive Resident Evil 5 limited edition.

Information about the Xbox 360 limited edition's release date, hard drive size and pricing details are not yet available. The bundle will include a red Xbox 360 console and controller, a copy of the Resident Evil 5 game, an exclusive game theme for the New Xbox Experience, and a coupon to download Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD.

There are apparently a few other versions of a limited editon available, as well.

Joystiq has gotten their hands on a reportedly North American collector's edition containing a Chris Redfield figurine, a Tricell messenger bag, a BSAA patch, a Kijuju necklace, a bonus disc and the RE5 game disc. Last year, CVG magazine unveiled a different Resident Evil 5 bundle that came with the game disc, a USB flash drive, a 32-page art book and a fanny pack like the one worn by Chris in the game.
